It’s really hard to procrastinate things that you don’t want to do. One of the best things you can do is schedule out all of the things you need to do so that you can make sure you get it all done in time and possibly early.
Plus, the longer you wait to do something the harder it will be to get something done. Getting it done early and quickly makes it so that you never have to worry about getting too close to the deadline or missing it altogether.
Give Everything a Place
Everything in your home should have a place, meaning it should have a place to be and you should know exactly where it can go when it is out of place and in your way.
It’s really easy to get lost if you don’t have a place to go, and the same can be said for your material possessions and activities. If you’re working and sleeping in bed, your brain might not understand what you want when you sit in it. Additionally, it might be good to dedicate time to decluttering your living and work spaces.
Everything that you do requires things and materials. If you’re leaving everything you use throughout the day around your house or work space, you’ll easily get distracted when trying to start a new project or when trying to do other things. Additionally, things can get lost easily in the mess of your day-to-day.
If you aren’t constantly cleaning up after yourself, you will find yourself searching for lost materials and hunting down projects that got lost in the clutter of your other responsibilities. That’s why it’s important to declutter at least once a day, choosing a small location in your workspace or your home and carving out five minutes to put things in their place.
